Fall Signup Information

It's that time of year again, Hartford! We have one important thing to say to you all - it's time for fall football and cheerleading season! The Hartford Council for Recreation is looking forward to fielding teams in Senior Rocket Football, Junior Rocket Football and Flag Football this year, along with the Cheerleading programs that will cheer our teams on to victory during every game this season. Of course, we could not put these programs on for the youth of Hartford without the support of our community and the parents / guardians who sign their children up with us, and we want to thank everyone for their continued support.
Just like we did last year, we are hoping to make online registrations available as soon as possible. With a new website manager as of this past April, we are still learning the intricacies of it. Please be patient with us as we try to get this completed. When it is available, the online registration link will be located on the left-hand side of the home page under the "Trending Links" section. Our online registration process is simple: you just fill out the form in full, pay your fees through PayPal, and you're done. All of this can be achieved from the comfort of your own home. If you wish to sign your child, or children, up online and need assistance, you may reach out to any member of the Hartford Council for Recreation and we will gladly assist you.
If online registration is not your thing, we will also hold multiple in-person sign-up dates during the months of July and August to get everyone signed up for our sports programs. Those dates will be Thursday, July 18th, Saturday, July 27th, Wednesday, July 31st and Thursday, August 1st. All in-person sign-ups will be held at Indian Pride Park in Hartford. Each sign-up may have a different time period, so please check out our social media channels for more information.
Before we get things underway, we will also need to hand out equipment to our players, especially those playing either Junior or Senior Rocket Football. We will have our annual "Equipment Handout" night at a date to be determined later, so, once again, stay tuned to our social media channels for more information. When we have equipment handout, we encourage all players to show up during that time window to be personally fitted for helmets and shoulder pads by our equipment staff. We ask that everyone please be patient and wait in line. That way, the equipment handout process can proceed as smoothly and as orderly as possible. We appreciate everyone's cooperation.
Fees for Rocket Football and Cheerleading remain the same from 2018. However, there has been a slight increase in the cost for Flag Football. Since we are getting better jerseys for our littlest players, we've had to raise prices $10.00 to accommodate for this. Please know this was a difficult decision for us, but the costs of everything is rising - and we appreciate your understanding. Fees for Flag Football, Rocket Football and Cheerleading are as follows:

Flag Football: $45.00
Rocket Football: $85.00 OR $80.00 each for 2 or more participants
Cheerleading: $45.00 OR $40.00 each for 2 or more participants
