As a not-for-profit organization, the Hartford Council for Recreation is supported on a yearly basis by donations and the fiscal help it receives from local businesses, individuals, municipalities and organizations via sponsorship donations. Each year, community leaders decide to invest their hard-earned income to allow us to achieve our mission, which is to provide the youth of the communities we serve the opportunity to participate in educational, structured sports programs, with the ultimate goal of not who wins or who loses, but teaching our youth valuable life-long lessons that will serve them not just today, but long into their adult lives.

Everyone who comes into our community knows that Hartford is a small, tight-knit town, so we feel fortunate to have the tremendous support from our community. To us, having the support of so many people, who are very giving and kind with their hearts, money and time, and allow us the opportunity to succeed, is not lost on anybody within our organization. It warms our hearts that longtime and new sponsors, both, continue to recognize the importance of what their sponsorship dollars allow us to accomplish. Those who donate to our organization know right away that every dollar we receive goes towards creating top-notch educational, recreational sports programs, like baseball, basketball, cheerleading, football and softball, in addition to other financial burdens. Sponsorship donations also create an opportunity to make these programs more affordable for families within the communities we serve, which include the City of Hartford, Hartford Township, and other municipalities outside of our local area.

While we certainly appreciate the support of our current longtime sponsors, we are always looking for additional, new partners to join us on this journey. There are five different sponsorship levels, ranging from $100.00 up to $500.00, and every denomination in-between is accepted, as well.
