The Hartford Council for Recreation and the facilities and fields of Indian Pride Park are located at 130 Lincoln Street in Hartford, Michigan. Our facilities and fields are located approximately one mile north of Interstate 94 at Exit 46 and are located at the intersection of Lincoln, East and Reynolds Streets in the downtown area. Our location affords us the opportunity to be centralized inside the City of Hartford, and our facilities and fields are open year-round to the public; weather permitting.
Indian Pride Park boasts four fields for our older players, and three of those fields serve as hybrids, allowing us to play Baseball and Softball using the same fields. We also have a T-Ball field that is dedicated to growing and teaching the game to our younger athletes. A larger, new concession stand, and restroom facility was built nearly a decade ago, thanks to the help of many generous sponsors and hard-working volunteers. Two large pavilions have been built in recent years, which allow people the opportunity to bring in their lawn chairs and sit in the shade during those hot, summer days. And we guarantee more changes and upgrades are coming in the years ahead to make our facility one of the best in Southwest Michigan!
Our facilities and fields are owned by Hartford Public Schools and are operated under a lease agreement between our organization and the school district. This means that all federal and state laws applied to the school district will be enforced at our facilities. There are signs located at both entrances to our facilities that will tell you what you can, or can't, do within the confines of Indian Pride Park. We thank you for your cooperation and we hope you enjoy your time with us!
