Spring Signup Information

It’s that time of year again! The fields of Indian Pride Park are dormant right now, even as Mother Nature throws winters ups-and-downs at us. But we promise you spring is on the way, and that means that signups for Baseball, Softball and T-Ball are on the way! We are once again looking forwards to a fantastic and memorable spring and summer full of fun, laughter, smiles and victories for the youth of Hartford and surrounding communities!
Just like last year, we will be offering online registrations beginning on January 15th, 2020. The online registration link will be located on the top navigation bar under the “Online Registration” section. Because we changed website hosts last year, the online process will be a little different to begin with but will make it easier in future seasons. You will need to sign up for an account through our website, fill-in your personal information (you may also fill in the information for a co-account holder if you wish), add your participants, and sign them up.
How will this help you in the long run? Our new online system will automatically calculate the participants age and place them in the divisions that fit their age group. And since we will be using the same system for Football and Cheerleading, our system will also calculate the best options for this year’s fall sports, as well. Finally, the information will carry over year-to-year, meaning all you need to do is select the division, fill out the registration form and pay; it’s just that easy! The only thing that the account holder will have to do is check their information and their participant’s information for any changes (ex. Changes in Address, Changes in Phone Numbers).

Also, our website provider, Sports Connect, has written step-by-step instructions on how to properly complete the registration process. If online registration is not your thing, we will also be holding multiple in-person signup dates during the months of January, February and March to get everyone signed up for our sports programs. Dates, locations and times are still being determined, so we encourage parents / guardians to stay tuned to our website and social media outlets for updates in the weeks ahead.
PLEASE NOTE: All signups, including online registrations, will end on March 15th, 2020. This is to ensure ample time to get teams drafted and get jerseys made for our players before the season begins on April 20th (Baseball) and April 21st (Softball). The only exceptions will be made for additional T-Ball players OR divisions that may require an additional player or two to fill them. Also, NO signups will be allowed without payment. You must pay the fees listed below at the time you sign your participant up with us; NO EXCEPTIONS! If you are in need financial assistance, please speak with a Hartford Council for Recreation representative.

Fees for Baseball, Softball and T-Ball are unchanged from last year and are as follows:
T-Ball: $45.00
One Participant: $75.00
Two Participants: $125.00
Three or More Participants: $150.00 (Family Max)
