Spring Signup Information

It’s that time of year again! It has been nearly two years since the fields at Indian Pride Park have seen action, but we promise you that progress is being made towards having a spring sports season! That means that signups for Baseball, Softball and T-Ball are on the way! After the challenging times we have had over the past year, we are once again looking ahead to an unimaginable spring and early-summer full of hits and catches, along with plenty of fun, laughter and smiles for the youth of Hartford and surrounding communities.
Much like previous years, we will be offering virtual registrations beginning on February 15th. The virtual registration link will be located on the top navigation bar of each page on our website under the “Virtual Registration” section. Please remember that the online process requires a parent or guardian to sign up for an account on our website; then, you fill-in your personal information (you may also fill-in the information for a co-account holder if you wish – that may be another parent or guardian), add your participants, type in your answers to our required questions on our yearly form, and sign them up.
The virtual registration process makes it easier to sign up for our sports in subsequent years. How? The system automatically calculates your participants age, and places them in the correct division that fits their age group. And, since we will be using the same system in future sports seasons, it will also allow you to see the best options for the fall and winter sports seasons, as well. Finally, the information carries over year-to-year, meaning all you need to do is select the division, fill out the yearly registration form and submit payment, and that is it, you’re finished! The only thing that the account holder may have to do in their settings is check their information and participant’s information for any changes that may have occurred (including change in address or phone number, for example).

If virtual registrations are not your thing, we are also planning on hosting a couple of in-person signup periods prior to the close of virtual registrations to get everyone signed up for our sports programs. Dates, locations and times are still being determined and are tentative to change at any time due to COVID-19 restrictions. We encourage parents / guardians to stay tuned to our website and social media outlets for updates in the coming weeks.
PLEASE NOTE: All signups, including virtual registrations, will end on March 28th, 2021. This is to ensure ample time for teams to be drafted and get jerseys made for our players before the season begins in early-May. The only exceptions to this rule will be made for any additional T-Ball players or for divisions that could require additional players to fill teams. No signups will be allowed without payment, unless you have rolled over your payment from the 2020 season into the 2021 season. If you need financial assistance, please speak with a Hartford Council for Recreation representative. We will do our best to help you to the best of our ability.

Fees for Baseball, Softball and T-Ball will remain unchanged from 2020, and are as follows:
T-Ball: $45.00
One Participant: $75.00
Two Participants: $125.00
Three or More Participants (Family Max): $150.00
