Fall Signup Information

It’s that time of year again, Hartford! After the events of the past year, we are excited to ask all of you – are you ready for some football?! The Hartford Council for Recreation is looking forward to fielding at-least three teams during the fall football season: Senior Rocket Football, Junior Rocket Football and Flag Football. In addition, we are also excited to welcome back our young ladies for a full Cheerleading season after having to cancel the season due to the pandemic a year ago. It’s an outstanding time to be a young Indian athlete, and of course, we could not put these programs on for the youth of our communities without the support we get from community members and the parents / guardians who sign their children up with us each year and whom put their trust in us to give their young ones an experience unlike any other. We want to take a moment to thank everyone for their continued support.
Just like last year, we are hoping to make signing up your child, or children, up easier than ever before with our online registration portal. We are hoping to make this available to our parents somewhere in the middle of the month of July, between our regularly scheduled Baseball and Softball tournaments. When it is available and open to the public, the online registration link will be located on the left-hand side of the home page under the “Top Trends” section. As many of you can attest to, our online registration process is simple and easy: you just fill out the form in full, pay your fees, and you’re done. All of this can be achieved from the comfort of your own home, without having to leave your chair or couch. If you wish to sign your child, or children, up online and are need of any assistance, you may reach out to any member of the Hartford Council for Recreation and we will gladly assist you.
If online registration is not your thing, and you are more comfortable signing up in person, we will also hold multiple in-person signup dates during the later part of July and early-August to get everyone signed up for our fall sports programs. Dates and times have yet to be set by the Interlocal Board of Directors, and parents / guardians and other interested parties are encouraged to stay tuned to our website and social media channels for further information once it is made available.
Now, you may ask – what do fees look like? Well, we have some very good news to report on that front! The Interlocal Board of Directors has decided to keep prices the same as we did during the shortened season last year. We know that times financially are not the greatest right now, so it’s in everyone’s best interests to keep prices reasonable and help keep our kids active in organized sporting activities. In case you need a reminder, here is the fee schedule for Flag Football, Rocket Football and Cheerleading:

Flag Football: $45.00
Rocket Football: $85.00 OR $75.00 each for 2 or more participants
Cheerleading: $45.00 OR $40.00 each for 2 or more participants
